Charity Church’s life is a story of tenacity and fortitude. After bouncing around sales job to sales job, she finally applied at Royal Publishing, and on October 1, 2001 she was hired as a Sales Representative.
Each day Charity proved to herself and to the managers at Royal Publishing that she was a “great fit”, and after four years as a Sales Representative, she was promoted to Assistant District Sales Manager. She started off managing the Peru Branch sales office and then assisted with the opening of the Urbana Branch sales office. Currently, Charity is the Sales Manager, working with the Branch Managers and Sales Representatives in each of our four locations, including our home office. She oversees the hiring and training of our sales staff and manages the overall sales of the company.
Charity is the mother of three children and a grandma of three. Her oldest son Gage, graduate of Pekin Community High School, is a full-time union painter. He keeps busy taking care of his own daughter. Her son Bryson, also a graduate of Pekin Community High School and Illinois Central College, works as a diesel technician at Vermeer. Her youngest, daughter Jayden, graduated mid-term from Pekin Community High School, and just had her first child.
Charity reminds herself each day that every step she took made her the person she is today. She draws on both her personal and professional experiences as she continues to be successful at Royal Publishing, and over her 20+ years, she has been instrumental in the success of many of our sales representatives — past and present.
