Amanda was born and raised in Canton, IL, graduating from Canton High School in 2003. During her time there she participated in track and softball. After graduating she attended Spoon River College, obtaining an Associate in Arts degree before transferring to Southern Illinois University (Carbondale) to seek a degree in Photography/Graphic Design.
Amanda returned home after realizing that path was not for her. She worked in the food service industry as a server, bartender and manager before taking a job as an office assistant, and within two years she accepted a promotion and found her career path as a recruiter. Though she was laid off in 2020 she persevered, and Royal Publishing was fortunate to add her to our team as our Sales Recruiter, scouting talent for each of our locations.
Amanda and her husband, Dan, live in Canton with their three children: Joelle and twin boys Knox and Karter. In their free time they like to go to music festivals, outside concerts and sporting events. Amanda also likes all types of water sports such as boating, paddle boarding and kayaking, and sometimes she just likes to relax in a hammock with a good book.
